As a Security Guard - Retail Store Patrol Driver in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies if they arise.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing environments and conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
