As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with retail or mall staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
