As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive engagement. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site management and local law enforcement when required to address security-related concerns.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and report maintenance or related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
