Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills to address situations as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including the perimeter and areas within the location, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe, report, and document any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by following post orders and instructions specific to the location.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and follow protocols in the event of incidents relevant to a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
