As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the utilities location for any unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and offer assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
