Job Description


As a Security Officer - Bank Dispatch Monitor in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel to various areas within the location as needed.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls for assistance, emergencies, and/or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and/or unusual occurrences according to site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities by relaying critical information to appropriate parties and maintaining clear communication.
  • Assist with regular communication and coordination between Allied Universal staff and client representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
