As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a primarily driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access procedures and information as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activity according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate issues and maintain a secure environment for personnel and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
