As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while performing your duties. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or access control violations according to company and client procedures.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergencies or security-related incidents.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
