As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out screening procedures for individuals and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and drivers with security-related inquiries and access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and screening results as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Participate in emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or other procedures as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
