As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location, including dispatching security-related personnel to areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities and incidents occurring at the location.
• Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures, and provide guidance to security-related staff as necessary.
• Communicate with on-site personnel to relay information and updates regarding security-related activities or emergencies.
• Support Allied Universal in providing customer service by addressing client and visitor inquiries related to security-related matters.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining awareness of the location through monitoring systems and communication with patrol teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
