This armed position requires you to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address situations as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries, maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times.
  • Report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following established protocols for the location.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
