As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and relevant observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
