What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or situations to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and/or incidents following established protocols and support emergency response activities as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall client experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
