What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, providing assistance and guidance as needed while upholding site protocols.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
