As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with security-related needs and access requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Support access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
