Job Description


As a Security Officer - Media Studio Unarmed Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, supporting the overall security-related operations of the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing duties.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of observations, incidents, and actions taken during patrols and/or shifts as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
