As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions in an aerospace and defense environment.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or unusual situations.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all protocols for armed posts, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
