Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the marina location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and giving directions as needed.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the perimeter and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance needs according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with marina staff and local authorities as needed during emergencies or special events.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
