As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help maintain authorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries related to site-specific access procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel to support logistics and distribution operations while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
