As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a bustling food and beverage marketplace, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for visitors and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with guests, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first while contributing to a welcoming and secure environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence within the food and beverage environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with crowd management and/or line control during peak hours or special events as directed by site management.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site staff, and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
