As a Security Officer - Entry Screener in Laie, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener at a bustling food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter potential security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will interact with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities encountered during the shift.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
