As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points at the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related procedures.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities, security-related hazards, and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any access control violations, incidents, or unusual occurrences as required by site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
