As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You’ll interact with visitors and employees, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain detailed logs using a computer or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify credentials of personnel, visitors, and contractors entering the premises.
• Maintain detailed logs of access control activities and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
