Job Description


As a Security Officer - CRE Access Control in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and welcoming environment within the commercial real estate property.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
