As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols, communicating findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed to support a welcoming environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs specific to the government environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
