As a Security Guard - Media Studio Patrol in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication skills to address concerns and/or escalate issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing guidance to employees and visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support security-related operations and contribute to a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
