As a Security Officer - Office Building Patrols in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, respond promptly to situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as directed for incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site procedures to help support a secure and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
