As a Security Officer - School Campus Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries to contribute to a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and observant to identify and report potential security-related concerns in and around the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
