As a Security Officer - Plant Rounds in SEDALIA, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, support the well-being of employees and visitors, and communicate clearly while representing our company's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities within the food and beverage production environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as required during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert to potential hazards specific to the food and beverage production location and promptly report any concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
