As a Security Officer - Unarmed Medical Patrol in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas and perform routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors in a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare personnel to address security-related matters as they arise.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid EMT certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
