As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry onto the premises.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or students, providing assistance as needed while upholding site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or other situations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as requested by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
