As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Specialist in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper credentials and reporting any irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by site-specific procedures.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and report maintenance or site-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
