What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the location for unusual activity and report any observations according to established procedures.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or customers in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related awareness.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and observations.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols regarding the handling and use of assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with training and policy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security-related procedures and requirements for financial institution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required, as requested by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
