As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the state of employment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while maintaining a visible presence throughout your assigned area.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Interact with visitors, patients, and staff to provide assistance and information while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical situations, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
