As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
