As a Security Guard - Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time  in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Conduct screening of individuals and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel while performing screening duties.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity according to company and client procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
