As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrols in Bloomfield, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution and logistics location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by observing entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain authorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete incident and/or daily activity reports as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
