What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with hotel staff and management to address security-related needs and support a welcoming environment for all guests and employees.
  • Assist with crowd management and access control during events or busy periods within the hotel and resort areas.
  • Provide directions and general information to guests, demonstrating professionalism and a helpful attitude at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
