As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication—all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to direct visitors and staff as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders to support a secure and orderly environment.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
