Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Toledo, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence, combined with exceptional customer service and communication skills, will contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.
  • Monitor and report any security-related hazards or unusual conditions observed during patrols to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
