What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials in accordance with site requirements.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a welcoming and orderly environment for tenants, employees, and visitors at the commercial real estate location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
