Job Description


As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Route in DALY CITY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. You will interact with residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity throughout the location.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
