As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies relevant to logistics and distribution environments.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries, offering directions, and addressing client or visitor concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
