Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the healthcare setting.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials of persons entering the location.
  • Communicate and collaborate with staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to address incidents or provide support.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
