What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions or general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site-specific policies.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or the client to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
