As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and interaction will foster a welcoming atmosphere while you deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for retail and mall environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with the public in a professional manner.
• Provide information and directions to visitors and tenants as requested, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.
• Work collaboratively with onsite staff, management, and emergency personnel during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
