What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues, noting any irregularities or suspicious activities.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or issues according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with onsite personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns at the location.
  • Maintain a professional presence and uphold the standards of Allied Universal while representing the company at the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
