Job Description


As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

A Valid Driver's License is required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, providing assistance as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
  • Follow all protocols related to chemical and petrochemical environments, maintaining awareness of any site-specific hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
