As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Coverage in Snellville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within retail and mall environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff in security-related matters as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
