As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to tenants and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shack are preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
